East Fork Campground is set at the edge of the East Fork of Goose Creek and is conducive to tent camping and small campers. It is often visited by moose, mule deer, wild turkeys, elk, a variety of birds and other kinds of wild life. Brook, rainbow, and brown trout swim in the surrounding lakes and streams. Wildflowers bloom in late spring and early summer, filling meadows with a variety of colors. In addition to fishing, many ORV and hiking trails are available within a few miles of the campground.
Highway 14A, from Lovell, is extremely steep, a 10-percent grade and more, is winding, has several hairpin turns, and many blind corners. This is a challenging road during the summer season.
