Off-Roading in the Bighorn Mountains, Wy
Throughout the northern Bighorn Mountains, several beautiful places have been allotted for some very relaxing and enjoyable ATV riding. A ride along the Big Horn trail system provides the experience of many wonderful objects of nature. Heavily forested trails suddenly give way to large, scenic meadows with breath taking views of the mountain tops, and then, on the other side of the meadow, it’s back into the forests with the trail.

ORV Permits
A Wyoming ORV permit is required for all enrolled roads, routes, and 50" or less trails designated for ORV use.
Wyoming Trails Program
Please remember to Tread Lightly and carry a current travel management map or land use map from the land managing agency. It is your responsibility to know local land management allowances and restrictions.
