The camp is ideally located for scenic drives, and wildlife (elk, deer, moose and pronghorn) viewing. Small meadows in the campground provide space for enjoying family-friendly games. Nearby are Hazelton Road, Pole Creek Road and Sheep Mountain Road that provide scenic back road adventures.
